Should We Buy a Shop?

We're looking for a new house with a bit more room for our us, baby Jones, Lola the rabbit and ideally a lodger or two. Yesterday Dan and I and our friend Joe were chatting about where we might live next and we started talking about living in a shop. Not just a shop, a house that includes a shop, because really who doesn't want to have a big extra room that you could do crazy things with?!

Ok it's decorated like a old people's home, and you can't park outside, and it doesn't have a garden but forget all that and think about all the cool things you could do with the shop! Forget commercial things for the moment as I bet that involves filling in some kind of form. Here is the list of things that we came up with in order of most sensible/ realistic/ boring to craziest.

1) Mini home gym

2) Art/music studio.

3) Home cinema with a ball pool instead of seats.

4) Climbing wall leading around the room to indoor tree house.

5) Indoor camping area with a turfed floor a, campfire a, gypsy caravan and a tepee.

We're going for a viewing on friday, don't get too excited though because we do have to sell our own house first....also Dan might need a bit more persuading. Feel free to help out with that.
